If you’ve checked Pinterest or googled “What to wear for photos,” you may have come across the advice to avoid black at all costs. Miss A is here to show you that is not always the case.
As a black wardrobe lover myself - my daughter once asked me if I was going to paint our house black when I told her I wanted to paint the walls a color that makes me happy - I can totally understand how sometimes a color just fits you. It’s your calling card. It’s what makes you, you. And that you is exactly who needs to be captured when you’re prepping for motherhood.
So the next time you’re preparing for a sunset maternity photo shoot, a family session or a head shot, ignore the Pinterest boards. Go with your gut. Wear your color.
Enjoy Miss A and her husband on perhaps the most humid of sessions I have ever encountered - they rocked it!
Whether you rock all black and tend to flaunt colors Lilly Pulitzer, I want to capture you. Please reach out here if you’d like to chat about how we can make that happen.
